How Ripluo Protects Your Business Data

Your event business runs on client trust - budgets, contracts, guest lists, payments. Here is plainly how Ripluo handles that responsibility.

Where Your Data Lives

Ripluo runs on established cloud infrastructure: your database records live in managed PostgreSQL and your files and images in Google Cloud Storage, with automated backups. All traffic between your browser and Ripluo is encrypted over HTTPS, and file links use signed URLs so they cannot be guessed.

Payments: Cards Never Touch Our Servers

Every payment - your subscription and your clients' invoice payments - is processed by Stripe, the same processor behind millions of businesses. Card numbers go directly from the payer's browser to Stripe. Ripluo never sees, stores, or transmits card numbers. Invoice payments land directly in your own connected Stripe account.

You Control Who Sees What

Data access follows your organization's boundaries: team permissions in Settings > Team, per-event planner access, and per-planner financial visibility controls. Billing history is owner-only. Signed contracts keep both parties' copies, and executed contracts are protected records retained for at least a year - so an agreement cannot quietly vanish.

Downgrading or Leaving

Downgrading never deletes data - if you exceed the lower plan's limits, you archive events to fit, and everything stays restorable. Your exports (PDF and CSV) are always available, so your records are never locked in.

Common Questions

Who can see my billing details? Only the account owner - team members never see payment history or receipts.

Can Ripluo staff see my data? Access is limited to what is needed to run and support the service - for example, investigating an error you report.
